The London Marathon

This annual event sees approximately 35,000 participants running 26.2 miles across London from the start line at Greenwich through to the finishing line at Buckingham Palace. The route will take runners via Tower Bridge and Embankment, so why not be a spectator and motivate the runners as they pass you by!



Covent Garden May Fayre and Puppet Festival

This annual festival is celebrating it 40th anniversary this year. This event is all about Punch and Judy and brings enthusiasts from across the country for fun and laughter in the heart of London. Free to visit, it is definitely worth attending for all those looking for good old fashioned fun.

Trooping the Colour – The Queen’s Birthday Parade

Date: 13th June 2015

Venue: Buckingham Palace, London
Trooping the colour is a ceremony that marks the Queen’s birthday celebrations with a spectacular parade full of pagentry, a tradition that dates back to the 17th Century. The queen traditionally travels down the Mall in Royal procession with the Household cavalry. Be part of this Royal ceremony with all its splendor and glory!
