Halloween at the London Dungeons

World Travel Market

Date:3-6th November 2014

Venue: ExCel London
The World Travel Market takes place every year and provides a forum for buyers and sellers from every sector of the travel industry to come together. It is estimated that over £2.2 billion of travel industry deal will be generated as a result of the World Travel Market that took place in 2013. That’s not small change by any stretch of the imagination!

Lord Mayor’s Show and Fireworks

Date:8th November 2014

Venue: Guildhall
Steeped in tradition, the Lord Mayor’s Show has taken place in London for over 799 years. Despite adverse circumstances such as the black death and the Blitz, the show has still taken place every year and is always a grand celebration.

This year a flamboyant procession which includes colourful floats, horses and marching bands will be setting off from Mansion Place at 11:30 am. To mark the end of the procession, a spectacular fireworks  display over the Thames between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridge will take place.


Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Date: 21st November 2014- 4th January 2015

Venue: Hyde Park
If you are in need of some early Christmas spirit then head down to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Entry is free and it represents the perfect place to show off your ice skating skills (or lack of them!). If ice skating doesn’t take your fancy, then try the fairground rides or maybe take a walk through the Christmas markets and sample some delicious warm mince pies- yummy! If this doesnt bring out the inner child in you nothing will!



More London Christmas market

Date: 11th December-15th December 2014

Venue: The Scoop (SE1)
The best thing about Christmas is tucking into delicious treats that are normally restricted throughout the year. And there is no better place to sample Christmas sweets then at the Scoop. On offer are a range of Christmas puddings, jams, sweets and of course warm mince pies with cream!

The kids will also love the market as they can meet Santa Claus and pick out toys they want for Christmas. Perfect!



The Royal Ballet: The Nutcracker

Date:11th December 2014- 4th January 2015

Venue: London Coliseum
The nutcracker this Christmas is simply unmissable. With great choreography and guaranteed entertainment it is sure to please the whole family. So join Clara, her Nutcracker doll and the magician Drosselmeyer in this traditional and thoroughly festive tale.

Rugby world cup 2015
Although the event does not take place till next year, the excitement is already starting to build. Will New Zealand be able to retain its title? Or will South Africa, Australia or even maybe England emerge triumphant? What is for sure is a summer of thrills and spills!
